Vampire On The Loose In Serbia, Mayor Advises Residents To Put Garlic In Doorways And Windows

While many people believe vampires are a thing of television, the town council of Bajina Basta in Serbia is warning residents that a vampire may be on the loose ? in real life. Since the collapse of the watermill home of vampire Sava Savonovic, Mayor Miodrag Vujetic is advising people to put garlic around windows and doorways, as well as to place a holy cross in every room of the house.

?People are worried, everybody knows the legend of this vampire and the thought that he is now homeless and looking for somewhere else and possibly other victims is terrifying people,? Vujetic told news.com.au. ?We are all frightened.?
